Dendritics Patents

So-called "Legal for Trade" scales are becoming all the rage. Here is a listing compiled in November 2000 of scales capable of resolving at least 0.01 carat, which were actually listed by NTEP, the US National Type Approval Program, as legal for trade. (Updated in 2004 Here)

We know of one case in which New Hampshire certified one of our Gemscale-50's as Legal-for-Trade. This certification is actually up to each state. We were never even contacted about this, we just discovered this when the scale was returned to us for a recalibration. And just had to snap these pictures!
