NTEP 2000 Legal-for-Trade Carat Scales

This is a compendium of NTEP approved carat scales as of November 8, 2000, including their NTEP Certificate references (See http://ntep.nist.gov/ntep/navigation.htm)

Summary:

The following four are the only NTEP-approved carat scales that are certified to .01 carat accuracy with active certificates:

1. A&D Engineering HR-60 and HR-60GD (300 x .01 ct)

2. Mettler-Toledo CB203/A (210 x .01 ct, displays but not certified to .001ct)

3. Mettler-Toledo CB603/A (610 x .01 ct, displays but not certified to .001ct)

4. Mettler-Toledo CB1503DR/A (1600 x .01 ct, displays but not certified to .001ct)
